The sale starts at payment.
The bag is not an order. The order exists when Stripe confirms the charge. Shipping times are estimates, and a piece we cannot fulfill is refunded.

The agreement
These terms cover orders placed on this site. The shop shows a short list of home goods. Adding a piece to your bag is not a purchase and does not hold it.
The contract is made when Stripe confirms the payment and the order is written. If checkout is not connected, no card is charged and no order is created.
Price and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the piece. Shipping on this floor is free. Payment is taken by Stripe Checkout. Halden does not store the card number.
We may correct an obvious price error before the maker ships, and we will refund you if we cancel for that reason.
Fulfillment
Paid orders are sent to the maker or supplier for that piece. Shipping times are estimates and are set out in the shipping policy. A date on a carrier site is the carrier's estimate, not a promise from Halden.
If the maker cannot fulfill the order, we cancel it and refund the payment.
Risk and limits
The piece is yours to refuse or to claim under the return policy if it arrives damaged or wrong. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from a late or refused parcel.
Where the law allows a limit, our liability for an order is the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits a right that the law says cannot be limited.
Using the site
Do not misuse the site, attempt to break checkout, or place an order you do not intend to pay. We may refuse an order that looks fraudulent.
The site's content, photos, text, and design may not be copied or reused without permission.
